Pre-race routine:

Got home from work and loaded up the car with my wife (NHrite) and my son and then drove to meet up with Slugger. Drove over to Ellacoya for the virtual 5k.

Comments:

I'm hurt this season (bone spurs in my knee) so we walked while my wife, max and slugger ran. We crossed them at the 1.25mile mark so we turned around.

Life is amazingly fragile and I think it's important to really take the opportunities to really understand that. None of us know for certain that we have tomorrow so we have to take today and give our fullest.

Succinctly put, Chris. I've been thinking about how this run commemorated Christine - more specifically, Lucy. I met a bunch of people Friday that it might have taken me years to run into, much less run with. The BT community grew stronger, bigger, more bonded. Though I only saw Lucy's posts off and on, from all the tributes it sounds like that would have been far more important to her than any of her other goals, to watch people come together in peace and friendship.
