It is south and east of Steamboat at the clubhouse. It's about 8 miles from Steamboat, so plan to drive to the course, unless you want an extra long warmup

Here's a pic of Lake Catamount from above. It's really stunning. You swim basically in a small area to the left of the clubhouse you can see in the lower right hand corner.

And here's a picture of your view from the run route...also incredible.

I have mapped out directions from the La Quinta on the south end of Steamboat.  Basically from 40, turn right on 131, follow that for several miles, then turn left on CR 18.

I hope everybody is ready for the race...if anyone is wearing BT gear I'll be sure to say hello, I'll be wearing a green and black team javelin race uni....

been watching the weather and it looks like we can expect about 55 degrees for race start, this really doesn't make me happy since where I live 70 deg is concidered cold 8-).....anyway I did manage to at least purchase a cycling jacket and some gloves so I'm pretty confident that I won't freeze to death.

good luck to everyone and may all your times be personal bests

Good luck!

I'll be there wearing my TnT purple singlet.  (I think there will be about 30 of us from TnT.) I'm fairly easy to spot since I'm 6' tall.

And I'm guaranteed a PR as long as I finish.  Ah, the beauty of a first tri!
