Subject: RE: Anyone doing Craig Greenfield next weekend?I drove the course last night and it seems pretty flat. There are a few little hils, but nothing to think about, IMHO. I wanted to ride it today, but the wife needed the truck and I had no way to get my bike down there. There is one spot with a big church and all the good people willbe racing out of the parking lot, maybe. I will be watching around there. The roads did not seem to bad, a little crappy going over the X-way, but nothing out of the norm. Those duing the TRI instead of the Du, the run from Deer lake to the bike is going to suck. However the run after the bke looks cool. I was there about 7 last night and the water was real choppy looking Ther un path is paved, with grass on both sides. I am excited about this as I have no clue if my knee will hold out or not., so I am thinking grass is better then pavement. Limping across the finish line is still finishing Right There does not appear to be much parking. For you all coming from down south I would get there early. My ara manager actually lives on the back loop of the run, nera the park, so I may sleep a little later and park at his house. Oh and my 7 year old said the playground is OK and we come back. Are we going to sya hi to each other, I missed the intros at Hawk Island. I was too geeked about my first race to be social, my bad. Joe |
