Subject: RE: IM Training Plan - 'Be Iron Fit'My man used the 30 week intermediate plan last year for his first IM (IMWI) with success (disclaimer: he did skip the strength training component and changed some swim workouts). His only marathon to date was done at IMWI, and he ran it very strong. He is planning on following the Competitive plan for an IM next year. I am still deciding between the intermediate and competitive plan (the main difference is a weekend brick, if I recall correctly).
