Subject: Should I be running more than trails?I am a marginal runner but I love to run trails. Partly because they are easier on my knees (I love mud running ) and partly for the beauty of the run. The park I run has a lot of hills so it is hard to avoid all of them when I try to take an easy day or try to develop sustained speed. I run with a heart rate monitor to track my efforts, but I'm not sure I'm getting everything I could out of my workouts. I can swim lap after lap in the pool, but I quickly get bored running a track. I could use some help/insight, any ideas? |
