Subject: front brake?
Sounds like a stupid question, but I am going to ask it...anyone ever considered taking off the front brake to be more aero? to go faster....and do you think its even safe to consider doing it?

The front brake provides most of your stopping power. Not a good idea to remove it.

Besides that, the USAT requires that "there must be one working brake on each of the two wheels." (Section 5.11(j) of the Competitive Rules).

I agree with the above - no and no. If you really wanted your brake to be aero, retrofit it to the rear of the front fork.
