Subject: Back again! My most horrible race pic

It's funny, I didn't even realize I was hurting in this race.  Although with a sprained and swelled toe  I was hopped up on Vicodin pre race...if you look at my face I guess I really was in pain.  Geez...it was just a 10K.

The first one is my favorite...perhaps I has horrified at my 5K split.

I've pushed my self in a 10k and hurt more than I have in any other race I've ever done. It's just a 5k or 10k is a bad statement.

I also typically look like I'm hurting, even if it's the first 100m. :p

Those are great race faces!  Looks like you're really gutting it out.  However, compared to the chick next to you, you need some sun, man!

If you do not puke at the end of a 10k, you did not run hard enough

Seriously; I am not sure why the papparazzi even bother to take finish photos at a short distance race like this. I have hated every one mostly because I am truely about ready to puke when I get to the finish line.

I actually had the Race Director(I do know him) E-Mail me a few days after my triathlon last weekend about one of my pictures.

And I quote,
'Not sure you would buy this one but I got a kick out of it....'

Sad part is, I don't even think it was my worse one. But I was staring at the camera man with a bit of a wtf are you doing face. Not that I remember ever seeing a camera guy.
