Subject: A funny story
The past 3 weeks have had a horrible cough/wheezing. Crappy run yesterday, worse today on my bike/run brick. So bad that I actually went to see my PMD. He was horrified that I was running the way that I was wheezing. Gave me a breathing treatment. Put me on steroids, inhaler and antibiodic in addition to the zytrec and added singulair.

He told me no activity for 24 hours. I told him I wanted to ride my bike to work tomorrow. He said no. (He is a triathlete).

As I was walking out the door he said "on your ride in tomorrow at least dial it down a little"

busted yes... but I would take his advice.  don't mess with your lungs - once you've damaged them it's hard to recover from!

That's funny.  At least he realizes how hard it is to not work out.  My doctor has figured out that I don't really take rest days so much as take it easy.
