Swim
Comments: Splash and Dash swim was pretty intense today. It was a mass start and I felt like a pin ball half of the race. I sucked in water 2 times from being wacked and then thrown off from my rythm. I guess I did ok with the swim, but I was hoping for a little faster time. I am really hoping my wave at Nathans is not that crowded but I am guessing it will be. What would you do differently?: Try to go faster at the start. Transition 1
Run
Comments: The run didn't start off well at all. My left calf started cramping and twitching. I was so worried it was going to really cramp up, so I took it easy hoping it wouldn't. Thankfully it went away after about a half mile, but since this is such a short race this is actually a long ways! After the turn around I kicked it into gear and ran hard the rest of the race. What would you do differently?: I am not sure why I started to cramp. Maybe eat a gell before. Post race
