Pre-race routine:

Nothing special. Woke up at 2:30, had coffee, puttered around until about 4:00. Went to the race and got there right at 6:00

I have to recalcuate my swim times now. Seems I'm swimming faster than I was at the beginning of the season and I was seeded with the 6 minute swim time estimates. I enjoyed the heck out of this swim.
What would you do differently?:

Give a better estimate of swim time.

Was behind a guy who stopped and got onto his bike very methodically. I slowed down to make sure I wouldn't run into him and it took time. This course had HILLS! I think there was about 30-40' of level ground, the rest was either up or down. Was playing leap frog with one of the guys with a road bike. He would catch/pass me on the level areas and I'd get him either up or down the hills.
What would you do differently?:

Not much, I enjoyed this ride.

I suck at running this year. Well, first season and I haven't run for about 10 years so this is not too surprising.
What would you do differently?:

Run faster. Next year I'll be doing just that.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I'm decent swimming, I'm pretty good on the bike but I SUCK running. Time, patience, and volume will take care of that.
