Subject: Taper advice

Hi. I have my first OLY next Saturday (the 4th). I have looked at a number of plans and read a lot about tapering and there seems to be no real consensus. I've done more running races than I have done tris, so I "know" what to do before a running race, but am still uncertain about a tri, especially my first OLY. Here's what I plan. Please feel free to rip it apart. My logs are up to date. I feel pretty confident in having trained well. I need some advice on how much/little to do over the next 10 days:

Today: 5K race at work. Pushed hard; saw it as a time trial/guage, plus some nice speedwork prior to next week.

25 Sep (Thurs): Swim 30 mins

26 Sep (Fri): Bike to/from work (20 miles total...this is most of my bike training and I push fairly hard on these rides)

27 Sep (Sat): 4 mile run

28 Sep (Sun): Brick: 15 mile bike/2 mile run (shorter than my other bricks)

29 Sep (Mon): Nuttin? Swim?

30 Sep (Tue): Bike to/from work (20 miles)

1 Oct (Wed): 3/4 mile run easy with a couple of pickups

2 Oct (Thu): Nothing (have to travel for work so rest day)

3 Oct (Fri): Nothing (have to travel for work so rest day)

4 Oct (Race)
