It was a great race! The nice thing about only having run a marathon is that you get to have a PB in all other races! I was just 1 minute and 45 seconds off the sub-2 hour goal time. Now I am going to train like crazy for the Chicago marathon--and I will go 4 hours or under!!!

I will let Fromie post his own report but suffice it to say--HE ROCKED!! I am predicting a BQ at the Detroit Mary!

She did do GREAT

I could barely match her pace when I doubled back and found her!! I definitely CAN'T keep pace when she's walking!!

Anyways, I think Shannon has "rediscovered" her inner competitor!! Watch out Chicago!!

HUM. Did you know that BQ for women your age is 3:40?? HMM.... Sounds like a worthy AND attainable goal. As I recall, you like to set the bar high for personal achievements...mary, half IM (I am evil ).
