I already upload to Garmin connect is that what you mean?  It isn't a patch on BT though.  Im just hoping that a fix will be found!

No, there's another piece of software that Garmin offers for the desktop. http://www8.garmin.com/trainingcenter/ It's crappy, but maybe will help you find those tcx files, and it will let you export workouts as tcx files. If BT is close to a fix, tho, maybe just wait it out.

Any update Ron.  I have been using BT on a phased basis and am now ready to show advanced heart data and begin using training plans based on LT ie upgrade to silver but no good if I cant get my files downloaded!

We hope to have it live tonight/tomorrow.  What I didn't realize though the fix was easy, it was in a page that we were doing some other major work to and we couldn't go live with the fix until we finished everything else up.

Let me know if you would like to test the fix on the development site today and I can send you the details.

So far, I like the changes that I see.  I can get multiple workouts showing from my 305 on each sport (even swimming).  At this time it doesn't want to save the lap data so I can't confirm much else.  The message that it is storing data just keeps spinning.

It's working great now, getting all the workouts at once even if they are classfied as "Other".

Except I'm not getting lap data now :-(

PS: I love the History link on the route shown in my blog now!!!

Tried it again after manually entering data watch was still on workout page clicked on upload button and it worked.  Duathlon on sunday will let ypou know how that works out!!!

Back to square 1.  Device is detected....communicator test page works ok.  But no data downloaded.  Any more FR50 users still having problems?

Same happened tonight I had 3 workouts for today couldnt upload them entered first bike manually then tried download from garmin again all 3 workouts showed and i could upload them into the right place no problem.  What am i doing wrong?  The fr50 uses ant technologhy could this be the problem?

I want to make sure I understand what's going on here. Can you tell me if all of these statements are accurate:

  • In the training log, sometimes the process works fine, other times the device doesn't show in the list of of devices.
  • On the link in my previous post, it always shows up.
  • You can go from the link in my previous post, have it show up and then to your training log and it doesn't, even though the FR 50 or it's connection haven't changed.
If it works sometimes and not at others, we need to isolate what is changing.

The FR50 always works with Garmin connect.
When on BT the device is always recognised when I click on upload data the data is not uploaded.
Sometimed after entering data manually the upload does work however this has not happened in 4 or 5 days.

Saved my session then went and done other stuff on PC.  Came back to BT to update race log.  Tried to upload data and it uploaded first time!!!!  As far as I am aware nothing had changed.

Mike dont know how this is happening but this might help  the date on my watch is correct however when I go to history and look at the run the date says 30 8 and not 29 8!

I just noticed the difference tonight ill see if I can get on a FR forum and see how this happened.
