When we got it I thought it was a sensless thing, then I used it and LOVED IT!! Used it all the time and the big thing I got out of it was how fat and out of shape I was (I love that is tells you you are overweight and makes your little Mii fat!!). I think it was one of the many things that convinced me that I had to get my a$$ off the couch and get in shape, things kindof snowballed after that and now I love to train! Although I don't use the Wii much any more (haven't touched it all summer, actually) I think I will this winter since I don't have a gym membership.

I was using it everyday when I first got mine...now it is collecting dust. I don't find it to be a useful workout tool.

x2.  ironic...just sold mine this weekend.  wife and i used it for about 2weeks, then it sat in the closet for almost a year.  pretty big waste of money...at least for me and my wife.

I've tried it, and it's fun.

However, THE DELAYS ARE FRUSTRATING.

It's of only minimal use if I'm working out for 15 minutes, and waiting around for 15 minutes.

Is there any way to set the wii, such that you don't have to wait a couple of minutes before moving on to the next exercise?

I like EA Sports Active too. More western (American, European style) than the Japanese style of Wii Fit. Only sometimes it doesn't track movement correctly and that is frustrating. They are good supplemental workouts and I work up a good sweat.

My wife was using the Wii Fit for a while and liked it OK, but she got the EA Sports Active game for Wii and likes it even better.  I think it's got more resistance & cardio, less emphasis on balance than Wii Fit.

My wife and I love the Wii fit, too. It does turn the mind-numbing TV off and engage your body, if anything to strech out the legs and get the heart rate up a little.
