Started out good. Stride was good, then about the 1.5 mark, started to get tired and out of breath.
What would you do differently?:

Did not use the Camelbak and started to get thirsty around the 2 mile mark. No water was provided on the course.

Warm down:

Massage provided for the calves and hamstrings.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Was not able to maintain aerobically, need to condition aerobically more.
