got 3 tests and 1 paper back today:

Spanish: 88 ( I HATE this class!)
Ancient History: 90
State Gov: 83
Comparative Gov paper: 10/10

I must be doing something right. I have papers to work on for both Gov classes and tons of stuff for everything else as well. Plenty to keep me busy over the break......after skiing that is!

thanx for all the kudos everyone.  I didn't realize just how much I need this break until right about now.

Nancy, I hope tomorrow is a nice day when we go skiing, thanx for reminding me about Matt's soul.  I think he should get more than one day in exchange for something as dear as his soul!

Congratulations Ellen, that is very impressive. Hey, 88% for a Spanish class that you do not like is pretty good indeed, as are your other marks. You MUST be doing something right and I suspect that "right something" is hard work and dedication. I believe that Thomas Alva Edison defined it best when he said: "genius is one part insprirationa and nine parts perspiration!" Maybe I can call on you for help when I have to write an essay on "International Relations and Global Politics."

absolutely.  Now I even have some good sources on the subject; the textbooks we are using this semester.  My paper is on communism in China as compared to in the USSR and will China collapse as the Soviet Union did.  Good thing I enjoy this stuff, otherwise it would be impossible to do.
