Subject: Garmin 405 "object not found" error

I can find my device fine, but after clicking "get data" I get a "object not found" error.  I just got the 405 a couple weeks ago and always get this error.

Win xp, Forerunner 405 and Browser ie 7.0

Tough to say without more information. This is a mixture of Garmin code with our own so the first thing is to determine on what side of the fence the error is coming from.

Can you post a screenshot of the message? That could help me determine if the error is coming from Garmin code or ours.

Here is a screen shot.  Not sure this is too small to read but it is a Windows Error that reads "[object Error]"

That's coming from Garmin Communicator. Have you tried the test page ?

Either way, I'd try uninstalling Communicator and then reinstalling it. 

Start->Control Panel->Add or Remove Programs->Garmin Communicator Plugin->Remove

Once that's complete go to the Communicator Download page and reinstall.
