Continental Ultra Gatorskin.

Affordable, have put thousands of hard road miles on them, never had a flat, and they just keep going and going and going. Very stable on cornering, even at high speeds (25+mph), and braking.

Michelin Pro2. I got a set for cheap after my Michelin Ironman's were showing too much wear. They are everything I want in a tire, which means I don't have to think about them.

Conti GP 4000's hands down, didn't get a flat all season, that included a lot of training miles, 1 sprint, 2 Oly's, 1 HIM and a full IM. Plus the feel good and weigh in at 200grams

I voted for the Michelin Krylion Carbon tires.  I rode the entire year on one set, including 500 miles on the trainer without a flat or anything.  I think I paid less than $25 each for them.

Rubino Pro are my all-around fav's.  Keep coming back to these after trying others.

Long wearing, durable, and excellent all-around performance (handling, rolling resistance, braking).  Price isn't bad either.  Other Vittorias- Zafirro Pro is more durable & longer wearing, but don't aoffer ride & handling of the RP.  Diamante & Open Corsas are SWEET, but much less durable & treadlife is much shorter than RPs.

Michelin Pro Race are good also.  Slightly quicker but less durable & don't wear as long. Higher price & more frequent replacement add up to $$$$.

Conti's I've tried have been decent- EXCEPT I've been plagued by fragile sidewalls.  I've blown two sidewalls on very low mileage (<250mi) tires on minor impacts (small stones common in my area).  Only durable Conti I've tried are  UltraGatorskins, which ride rougher, slower, & with less grip than other competitive tires.

I also went with the Rubino Pro Slick tire. I have several sets of these, and I love them.
