Here's my 2009 Ironman Lake Placid Race Report.  Overall it was a good race but I'm definitely looking to knock time off for IM Wisconsin next year!

We are going to have one next year on June 17-20, 2010. We'll have 3-4 coaches on board (one with training in nutrition), bike tech support and working to bring a masseuse and a PT. We'll have sponsors for product and some goodies (shirt, swim caps, etc) and besides 4 days of intense training we'll offer a few clinics (TBD) and talks about race execution and nutrition. The package will include lodging (at the Art Devlins), a few meals, on course support, access to all coaches, product, etc. The masseuse/PT will be extra at a discounted price.

Pricing is still to be determined as we have to talk to the sponsors and such but it should be affordable and the camp is lots of fun. Last year was the 1st time we made it an official camp (previous years was more of a friends gathering to train lots) and we learned a bunch of stuff to improve for next year. We had 30+ athletes and many staff supporting athletes on and off the course. I'll have more info over the next month or so.

Tentative training camp schedule, this is general some might do more or less:

Thursday - check in, 2 loop swim @ Mirror Lake + 40 min run. Meet and greet
Friday - 1 loop swim, 2 loop bike IM course (fully supported) + 30-45 min run - Dinner/seminar/clinic
Saturday - 1 loop swim, 1 loop bike + 1 hr run - Dinner/seminar/clinic
Sunday - 2-2:30 hr run + optional swim or bike, check out.

If anyone is interested, save the date!
