Run
Comments: I finished this race last year in 22:22, which was a 7:11 pace. Since I know I'm a few seconds slower this year having run so much less, I decided I would aim to be under 7:20 pace. The narrowish street and big crowd mean a slow start. I was pretty much at the mercy of the crowd for the first 1/2 mile. Starting my watch from when I got to the line, I hit the 1 mile mark about 7:09, which was reasonably on-pace since it was a downhill start. I finished mile 2 in about 7:17. The last 1.1, I had 8:05, which I think is still under 7:20. It was a cold, dry day, which is tough for breathing. My lungs are still burning. I had a great time at the race. I remembered how much fun this race was last year, so I had to come back. Even Kev was looking forward to it and he doesn't usually join me at races. Several of my teammates also raced. I met a couple of BT'ers, and I ran in to a couple of other friends. Overall, I finished 42 out of 619 women. Post race
