Comments: First split was 6:54, then downhill from there. Ave. pace was 7:37. I pushed pretty hard. I knew my HR was high, but I didn't look. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Post race
Warm down: Walked around, stretched, ate a banana, a couple cookies, and some Gatorade. What limited your ability to perform faster: I train mostly for endurance, so I am not to used to going fast. Last updated: 2008-12-26 12:00 AM

Got up at 6 am went to IHOP for breakfast. Came home, went to the bathroom, then drove to Carmel to register.
Ran for 10 minutes to get HR up and loosen up legs.
