I'm gonna pass on some of my wisdom to you all.

Running 5 miles after a night of eating fatty food and drinking wine and then a morning full of nothing but coffee and Diet Mountain Dew is not the best idea.

Not my finest run, that is for sure!  I couldn't decide if I was going to throw up or not.  Fortunetly for the dude on the treadmill next to me, I didn't!  I won't do that again, that is for sure!

That is sad!  I called to double check that mine was open and they had childcare today.  I was a little surprised that they had both today.

AH HA HA HA! Sorry, that's really funny. I learned the same thing by doing a half-mary under essentially the same conditions--GROAN!

I've unexpectedly met my swim goal so ATTENTION WORLD! ATTENTION SLUGGER! I'm adding two more swims to my goal.

A little under half for the bike and run, so apparently for a Challenge Challenge that is about right ... getting to 95% will be a reach and making 100% will be a real reach.

I cannot imagine running like that for 13.1!!  No way, I think I would have died!!

It is a tad funny.  Okay, maybe a lot funny.   I'd laugh if it was someone else and I'm sure I'll laugh at myself tomorrow!

I have upped my running goal from 70 to 75 but still am ahead of schedule.  I think I did my math wrong when I was calculating how many miles I was going to run this month.  I think I'll up it again to 80.  <<<<<that's crazy, the most I've ever run in a month is 55ish.

YOu rock, Erica! I was going to say make sure you don't get injured, but actually if you increase steadily, 55 to 80 in a month is not that bad. Way to go

I also peed on myself during that half mary. I was so miserable I figured if I stopped I might just STOP altogether ... plus it was raining buckets that day so I figured it'd all wash off quickly ...

Those of us who did it called it the "open water run."

Hi everyone! Happy Monday!

Erika--that 5 mile run on the treadmill sounds miserable. that guy next to you is lucky he had no idea what could have happened.

Everyone is doing so good on their challenges. i need to update mine soon. I'm getting htere! I'll be hustling to make my swims this week, but it's going to happen!

I was able to run my half mary this weekend with no hip pain or further damage! I'm so happy. I just ran nice and easy and finished okay in 2:06. It was so pretty outside and a fun day!

It is a frickn 31 degrees out and my fingers are so frozen!  It makes typing interesting...

I got to school nice and early to do my morning run.  It lasted about 15 seconds before I very nearly fell on my bum.  The campus is covered in a combination of frost and black ice. Undecided

I will give it another go after class.

I have been sitting in my car for half an hour now...my chest is freezing too.    Not fun.

Only 15 minutes (or less) 'til I can go inside.  I am really hoping for less.

Let me know if you need some hands Erica!!  lololo

I got 1000 meters in the pool tonight, started doing some drills instead of just grinding lap after lap!! MY back and shoulders feel it.

I think that had to be a sign a run was not meant to be! Happy Wednesday everyone! Headed to the pool in a minute to knock out my swim for the day. I'd rather be in bed, but I guess that's not an option!

If it's any consolation, you're not alone here.  I've done this on more than one occasion!

This is the second time in two weeks I have done it!  I haven't done it prior to this streak.  Go figure!

Oh well, not much I can do about it now!  Rest assured, I won't forget tomorrow!
