Comments: Like I said I really meant to jog this, but I found myself at the front at the start and the whole race atmosphere got to me. My legs were pretty shot from the race in Boulder only about 8 hours earlier. Honestly my only goal was to catch my wife (hotrodmeg) who started 3 minutes prior. Hey that's why it's called the SkirtChaser right? When I caught her I just kept rolling. Lotsa fun!!! What would you do differently?: Nada!  Post race
Warm down: Walking out to cheer my wife into the finish, but thats it. Got a free massage. Drank a crappy beer. What limited your ability to perform faster: Racing twice in one day, but it was still a ton of fun. Event comments: This was a blast. Gonna have to do it again. Last updated: 2008-08-16 12:00 AM

Normally I don't race as a pre-race routine, but this was a fun event so I wasn't too worried about it. I had placed 3rd overall and 2nd in division in an almost olympic distance race earlier in the day and was just planning on cruising this race. So with all the plans of "jogging" this race where did I line up? Yup right in front with all the adrenaline and endorphins pumping.
Jogged around the block a couple of times.
