Is there a way to add an item to the data base of foods?  FOr instance..I used Cardinis Regular Caesar dressing tonight, but all I found in the data base was the l"ight"dressing..can we add foods or do we have to ask?

Yes, there is. It's described in the Calorie Counter and Nutrition Logging instruction article in the section titled "2.8 Custom foods."

This is kind of a "wish list" type of thing ... I'm pretty sure it's not something that could be implemented in 5 minutes..

I would like another list... there's Custom Foods (which, for me, is starting to get unwieldy, though I hesitate to delete anything), and Frequent (which sometimes seems a little odd as to what's in this list, though I know there's an algorithm at work).  I would like a "Favorites" list that I could manually populate and manage.

The idea being that there are foods that I consistently have to search out in the database, but don't use on a frequent enough basis that they stick in my Frequently used list, but since they exist in the public database, that I don't want to litter my Custom Foods with yet another entry.

Does this make sense?

I really like this idea!
