Has anyone attended the Great Lakes Multisport Expo at the fairgrounds in the past?  There is one scheduled for 31 Jan - 1 Feb.  I am wondering if it is worth the drive and ticket price to attend.  Do the exhibitors offer significant savings at their booths?  Any help would be appreciated.

First time for the event.  Should be a good one!

Buy your ticket through the Tri Wisconsin web site www.triwisconsin.org with your membership!  Get the expo ticket for only $5, and we've got gifts at the Tri Wis booth for 2009 members ONLY!  If you choose to pay $10 at the door or $7 ahead of time elsewhere you can still sign up for your Tri Wis membership at the booth and you will get a gift too.

Going to be fun!  I'm going to suffer in the CompuTrainer relay for team Tri Wisconsin  / RACC.  I'll be riding from 10:45-11:45.  Come visit me so I don't suffer alone!  Tonight was the first time I turned a pedal since riding outside back before the snow flew...

Sounds like a good event.  I will try and make it out on Saturday.  Good luck on the relay, sounds like fun.

Cindy and I spent several hours there today. There are a lot of vendors and some really good deals especially on clothing.

Check out "art of tri" (artoftri.com) sweatshirts. I bought one online last week, LOVE it! Organic cotton, packed in biodegradable wrap, tags in recycyled paper with soy ink!! Very cool. Vendor
Element Multisports is now carrying them, and has a booth with the sweatshirts at the expo. Very nice! Per PeterAK, Triwis may be having artoftri make some sweatshirts for Triwis! Please support this ECO FRIENDLY company! Bought another one today, $5 cheaper...

BTW, for all dog lovers out there, there is a dog expo right next to the Multisport Expo. $5, very crowded but nice. All of the rescue orgnizations, vendors, great prices on rawhide bones, dingo bones etc.
