Comments:

Don't know if it was the cold, but I couldn't seem to get my HR up on this run. It was about 5-7 beats below my normal race pace heart rate. This was just a training race, so I did my normal workout the week prior. That may have something to do with it and I'm on track to hit my first 50 mile run week since Ironman Arizona. That may have something to do with it as well. Oh well I'm trying not to be disappointed with the results. Just need to stay focused on the more important races later in the season.
What would you do differently?:

Dig harder!
Post race
Warm down:

Ran another two miles easy. Got my cooldown and finished the final mile with the prettiest girl at the race.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Lack of the right kind of training.

Event comments:

I feel like I raced to my ability at this point in the year. I just NEED to get faster. I refuse to be satisfied with mediocre performances. Right now I'm lacking some muscular endurance and leg speed. My training has been adjusted to address these weaknesses. I may not be killing it in January, but when it matters... Lookout cuz I will be flying!!!

I hope you are talking about Meg too!  Nice run.  What do you mean you are lacking muscular endurance?  Did you slow at the end? Speed maybe...  Solid.
