Same here. Though the swim really isn't all that bad at 970 meters. the quarter I signed up for in Florida has a 1500M swim. Yikkes!!!

Aaron, I thought I read from Keith somewhere that this year the half does have some slots?

n/m I see it's Halfmax national and Team USA Long Course qualifier.. Not clearwater

I'm undecided. I really want to do it, but I hate wetsuits and I'm not sure I can survive in the cold water that long without one. I had decided on the sprint, but that day doesn't work for me, so now I'm torn on whether or not to do the quarter again

Me too! Ike will be my 1st tri two weeks after Austin as my 1st marathon, then quarter @ Lone Star a month later. Great Fun!!Laughing

Was in Galveston all day yesterday. Heading there again right now, to drive the new bike course with the Police
