Comments: Ran the first few miles with Doug, Gib, Angela and Christy. Around mile 4, the guys and Angela went ahead and I ran with Christy until she went ahead of me at mile 9 or so. Then I pulled out my Ipod and cranked the tunes. The first 5 miles were a breeze, struggled a bit on miles 9 - 11, but overall felt good. Didn't stop for a pee break but could have used it by mile 9, just kept thinking that maybe I could get under 2 hours. Pace slowed around then and I just didn't have it. This was a PR by about 3 or 4 minutes, so at least I am making progress.  Post race
Warm down: Didn't even hit the food tent because line was too long and I was trying o get to a spot to see Doug, Gib and Angela on the marathon course. Last updated: 2009-02-25 12:00 AM

Woke up around 5:30, ate a banana with PB and waited for babysitter to arrive so I could head down to the race.
It was cold and windy. Huddled together in a storefront area where we were protected from the wind. Visited with all of our friends running the race.
