Run
Comments: My leg held up and I had no problem with the injury that has had me doing no training the past 2 weeks. Was out front from the gun. I felt decent. What would you do differently?: nthing Transition 1
Comments: pretty uneventful What would you do differently?: nothing Bike
Comments: this was the 1st time I have touched my bike in 2 weeks, so it was not tragic considering. I need to get in some miles and try to get some power on the ups. What would you do differently?: train more on bike Transition 2
Comments: my shoes got stuck between the pedal and the ground when trying to get into transition, so I had to stop and lift my back wheel. I also got out of my shoes a little early and had to ride a touch further on top of them. Run
Comments: Got a cramp in my left calf right out of transition, but I ran through it. Took me close to the mile to get my legs going, but it was a solid run. What would you do differently?: Try to run quicker sooner. Post race
Warm down: jogged for 10 minutes What limited your ability to perform faster: I have not trained any in the last 2 weeks due to injury and then lack of motivation from injury. Event comments: was well put on and well run. It was far better than the Cary Long Course 2 weeks ago which ironically was put on by an events mgt company and thi swas put on by a magazine.
