Subject: wide center column
stupid question, but I couldn't find answer in my searches . . .

How do you get the center column of one's blog display to be wider?  Do pictures or a wide table need to be inserted in the goal page or something like that?

Yes.  You can put a simple placeholder 'line' using the rich text editor also in your goals and customize it's size by dragging the edges.
