Subject: RE: Weird knee pain.. below knee Are you in the right shoe for you, ie, have you gone to a REAL running store (NOT Footlocker or Sports Authority ) and gotten fitted for shoes? Are your shoes old and need to be replaced? (generally good for 300-500 miles, depending on your size and any other gait issues ). I'd say that it's unlikely that you've injured yourself in BOTH knees in exactly the same place at the same time. You could be trying to go too hard or too fast (or doing too much too soon ) and your muscles haven't adapted yet. Could be a lot of different things. But if you have not yet gotten fitted for shoes, do that first and see if that makes a difference. |
