After a great day mountain climbing yesterday, it's back to the club for the run-bike workouts. I wish I had access to a pool.

Have a great day everyone!

Back from Phoenix - early swim for 40 min. (Inside - cold here in IA - was lots more fun yesterday morning in the outsie lap pool - sunny - warm in Phonex) Then 30 min chest / bicep routine.

Aidan - terrible about your coach - pass on our good thoughts.

Aidan,So sorry about your coach! Whew! That sucks. Please know we're praying! Did 1.8 mile walk/run. Legs were killing me this morning, more like my hamstring just twinged. I couldn't run more than 8 min. w/o stopping this morning. It could be because of my race Saturday. Also 4-mile bike ride and 800 m swim. The pool and I have broken up, read my log. I'm never going to see him again! (Well at least for a few days). Ovetta.

I did a 58 minute ride this morning for 17 miles. And then had a bad swim day! My back kept cramping up while trying to do some new techniques I learned in my TI book. And on top of that there were a bunch of people bouncing around in the pool doing water aerobics and the kept creeping into my lane so I would have to break my groove to get out of their way. So I just called it a day after sucking down half the pool and doing 500 yards. All in all, still a great day! Jack.

Unfortunately looks like another rest day. I am trying to find the title for my car to trade it in tonight and it is nowhere to be found. Then I still got some running around to do.

My legs are still sore anyways. I have done 5 miles on the treadmill and not have the soreness this long so could it be from runnning outside. My legs felt good the whole run. Wanted to get back to the pool today, deffinately will tommorow though. Recieved my USA triathlon card in the mail today.

Was planning a run outside but last night kept being woken by the baby – then when I did get up it had snowed. So I folded and went back to bed. Adding a treadmill session to the swim tonight!

Will do a stress test today to set up my new heart rate monitor (yay!!). Then this evening I'll do an hour (at least on the bike trainer). Possibly more, but I've got homework up the WAHZOO!

Today is my long run day and I'm letting it go late apparently. I'll try to do 5 miles at the elementary school track. I'm still sore from the fartleks saturday and the easy run yesterday, so we'll see how it goes. I'm glad tomorrow is a running rest day and I can just swim.

Went for a 40 min run today - long for me. Afterwards, burned a few more calories on the stationary bike for about 15minutes - would have worked out longer if pesky work wasn't in the way!
