I had my last tri of the season yesterday.  Race report is here.

One race left on the schedule and that is the Twin Cities Marathon next weekend.  After that I'm hitting the off season and plan on taking a couple of weeks off to rest and recharge.

One last sprint and my season is done. I am very pleased being my first year, alot to reflect on but I do know the off season I will focus on the run and weight loss, how I will go about that is still a mystery to me but will worry about that after some time off. I would like to pr this sprint but am really not to motivated just signed up because all the guys at work decided to do one. I am sure once I get going I will be fine considering all the bravado around the office this week. Thanks for all the support it has been great.

Great job Neal and Kip for your respective triathlon.

My triathlon season is over but I still have a half marathon on October 25. I am looking to PR that one. Maybe something like 1h45.

I had a little down time following my HIM but now I am back on track with the running and swimming. I want to start spinning classes shortly. And my hockey season starts tonight.....yououououo

Kip, enjoy your last tri of the season!

I'm heading to Minneapolis this weekend for the twin cites marathon.  Last big race of the year.  I've got this crazy idea about trying for a BQ time but we'll see how things go.

Go Neal go.....it looks like you're on track to do your BQ. At the 10k mark, your predicted finish time as per the marathon site is 3:06.

Let that be a lesson on how not to pace a marathon   Thanks for checking in on me.  Still more than happy with a 22 minute PR!

Hello team,
How are you all doing? Just did my last long run (20km) before my last race of the year; a half-mary on Oct 25. Can you believe that it snowed while I was jogging this morning!!!!!!! Better than rain, but too early....  We will soon get those 30-40cm snow stroms....... can't wait.....

I can't believe the weather lately.  Our high temp today was actually a record for the lowest high.  Bummer cause I've been aching to get on the bike, but don't want to set up the trainer quite yet.

Other than that, resting and hopefully rejuvenating.  I tried a short run on Saturday, but that was painful.  I might try again later this week.  Then again I might not.  I have until the first of November before the official off season plan begins.  I can be lazy until then

Took a week off and I felt terrible after the first couple days but then the weekend football started and I had no problem not working out. Have a patrol bike school this week which I really enjoy but pushing the old mountain bike is certainly different but it is great for your bike skills. Mostly just like Neal though nothing organized just trying to do a little, did sign up for the country music half marathon in Nashville so I would have to focus on my run this winter, looking forward to it will be my second one ever.

Hello team,

Not a lot of action here. The last few weeks at work have been really busy, not much time to hang around on BT.

Did my half marathon last Sunday. My RR is ready and available. The conditions were not that great.....rain and wind.....but I managed to finish it right on target.

Have a wonderful Halloween weekend.....

Luc, nice job on the run.

I had a pretty lazy October myself.  Started in yesterday on a more structured off season plan with an emphasis on swimming.  I will spending all sorts of time in the pool the next few months.  I am also following Jorge's cycling plan for the winter.

Hope you all are enjoying some downtime

Off hunting this week really nothing structured at all for Oct. or Nov. start in Dec focusing on my run which after  much review really sucks, I would like to lose another significant amount of weight also. I am certainly not doing that now though.
