Subject: Start Time

Just to be sure I am not losing my mind...the race starts at 10 am, right? This is the latest race start I have ever seen, so I want to be sure I am reading it correctly!

Thanks!

You mean the Rumpass in Bumpass Oly and Sprint? Yes, they both start at 10 am on their respective days (Oly Saturday, Sprint Sunday). It's nice. The Giant Acorn race, which is in October in the same location, also starts at 10. For those of us in the DC area, you can just drive down the morning of.

I think it's because of all the people coming from DC that they start these at 10:00

Naw, some of the other races down that way, put on by the same company don't start that early, even though they attract a lot of DC-area folks.
