Subject: What program to use when opening up the CSV log creator?

I've never heard of a CSV file til yesterday when I found that an outside training plan can be created and imported.  I'd like to attempt this and found the template on BT and just started the "Be Iron Fit" 30 week plan.

 I've downloaded it and went to run it and Windows is asking what program to open it with and I haven't a clue and obviously a little challenged when it comes to techie things and a computer.

You can open it with a simple text editor, or you could open it in a spreadsheet program like Excel, or OpenOffice Calc, which makes it easier to work with.

CSV stands for "comma separated values"... the file looks like

10, 20, 30, 40
1, 2, 3, 4

etc.

Ok, I opened it up in Excel now I just have to figure out what to do from here.  Looks like something to do on a rainy day.

Thanks for the tip, I've opened things before using the wrong program and end up not knowing how to switch it if things don't work.

Wow that sucks big butts!  Are there folks in this world that actually have the patience to enter this kinda of info?

Unless a file can be shared, I'll look at my paperwork or book, as I'd prefer waterboarding over entering and trying to understand this nightmare.
