Subject: RE: ING New York City Marathon : Official ThreadI would bring the following: 1 ) a "space blanket" if you have one from a prior race 2 ) poncho 3 ) newspaper for insulation, enough so you can cover the ground if you want to lie down 4 ) plenty of clothing to throw away 5 ) something to read 6 ) wet wipes for the toilets stops 7 ) food that you want to eat before It can get really cold waiting around, I usually try and lie down for a long time. Listen for the annoucements and make yourself familiar with your corral, they will start calling you up early to get you into place. Hope this helps |
