Subject: Trouble Downloading my Workouts from my Garmin 405

Hope you can help me out.  I had posted this problem some time ago and I am still having difficulties downloading my workouts.  I can get my bike workouts to download (with some difficulty) using the "force send" feature on my unit.  I have tried doing the same thing for my run workouts, but it doesn't help.  I just get the message "Receiving date: 0%"

I have checked to make sure my unit has the current version of software and it says it is properly installed.

Hope you can help me out...I am getting really frustrated with this.

Up to this point, we've been using a 305 to code/test the Garmin functionality which made 405 specific issues tough to debug. We've ordered a 405 so we can reproduce this and create a fix. I'll jump on it as soon as the unit's delivered. We'll also get the 310 as soon as it's available.

I'm thinking that there's something specific to your device on the data on it causing this. Data is uploading fine from my 405 and we haven't had other reports of this. Given also that the codebase on our end has pretty much completely changed, the one constant seems to be your 405.

What happens when you from this Garmin Test Page? Make sure you try the TCX History options.

Also, have you ever deleted any workouts from the unit? If you don't it will degrade the data on older workouts to make room for newer ones. This can eventually result in data read errors.
