Subject: First Day Training for the Swimming Portion Aloha Everyone:
Today will be my first day training for the swimming portion of a Triathlon in July. I am fortunate to have a pool at our condo, but was curious as to how I should train? I’m a fairly good swimmer and swim often. The problem is that I’ve never swam a ½ mile and my breathing probably needs work. Any ideas on how I should train and how long/how many laps I should do on the first day? Thanks for any advice you can offer..
