Run
Comments: This was my personal best 5K time. So I am pretty excited. What would you do differently?: Not much. I kept the pace that I wanted to run. I did not try to keep up with the lead pack Transition 1
Comments: I had a little trouble getting into my shoes and getting clipped in once I got to the mount line What would you do differently?: Practice my T1 more Bike
Comments: My right calf cramped up on mile 14. I had to get off my bike and try to walk it out. After I got back on, I couldn't get up to a consitent cadence or speed because it hurt for the remainder of the race. I was also going against a stong head wind when this happened. What would you do differently?: Get my bike fit. Get more potassium. Train more on hills Transition 2
Comments: I jumped off the bike too early which cost me a few seconds on my bike time. What would you do differently?: Know exactly where to jump off at. Run
Comments: My calf was killing me, so I would jog and then walk. This killed my time. What would you do differently?: Do more bricks Post race
Warm down: Well, it was the "Flying Bagel", so I had a bagel with Peanut Butter What limited your ability to perform faster: The cramps. Not enough bike training. Not being fit on my bike. Last updated: 2005-04-11 12:00 AM
