Pre-race routine:

Drove to parking about a kilometer from the start line, then walked up to the start. Nice way to warm up.
Event warmup:

Had no expectations going out. With Mississauga full next week, just wanted to run at a good pace. Felt good so continued with the pace and ended up with a PB by almost a minute. Only stopped at the 7K water station, but if I hadn't would have been even better time. Also, most of the run, Garmin was not working due to the tall buildings. So no real idea of pace. Maybe a good thing.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing much, maybe missed the water station to get a few more seconds off the final time.

Warm down:

Took a long time to get through the crowds to the food. I guess that was a good cool down time.

What limited your ability to perform faster:


Event comments:

Only issue was with the location of the finish and the exit from the venue through one small gate in the fence.
