Subject: Volunteer Opp: Ragnar in August

Hi MN BT friends.  I am running the Ragnar Great River race on August 21-22nd.  The race is from La Crosse, WI to Minneapolis (yes, that's 205 miles).

Part of our obligation is to provide 3 volunteers.  I wondered if anyone here on BT, in the spirit of sport, would be willing to be a volunteer for my team.  You actually don't do anything with us, we offer you to the race organization.

If you can volunteer, and need a volunteer for a future race, I will absolutely do it in return to the best of my ability.  Please contact me directly if you can volunteer, I need to make sure you are affiliated with our team.  You will get a t-shirt!  And I am SURE some other good stuff from our team.   THANKS!!!!!! -Emily

Volunteers must:

  • Be at least 16 years old and have a valid drivers license
  • Provide their own transportation to and from their assigned location
  • Wear their official volunteer T-shirt while at their assigned location
  • Be physically able to perform their assigned duties
  • Be willing to fulfill any assigned volunteer time
  • Be willing to fulfill their entire shift at an assigned location

    • Time Commitment:  Shifts are 4-7 hours

  • Exchange Point Mgnt
  • Time Keeping
  • Course Supervision
