Water was a little choppy at times making it hard to breathe - had to stop a few times to catch my breath.

Swim more!

Slow!

Comments:

Felt tired from the start, quads were sore. Somewhere about halfway got cramp in right calf, never had that happen biking before. It kept coming back the last half so I had to pedal differently and that slowed me down.
What would you do differently?:

Figure out why I get cramps so I can fix the problem!

Kind of slow for T2

Comments:

Stomach sloshing from all the fluid I drank - which made me sick and unable to breathe well. Walked quite a bit.
What would you do differently?:

Improve my running, tempo runs, speed work, hill repeats - all the things I hate to do.
Post race
Warm down:

none

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Calf cramp, sore quads, dehydration, stomach issues.

Event comments:

Very well organized, good awards, nice shirts, good food. Would do again.

Very nice race! Especially the biking with the sore quad. I want your bike speed on a normal day.

Great job, but I expect that from you.  You are tough on that bike.

Maybe your adrenaline had something to do with the elevated HR.

WOW...all those issues and still knocked out a good time.  Great job sticking it out and getting it done.
