I am pretty sure I don't deserve it, but I can't point to my food journal for evidence of my perfect eating because I didn't track my food intake last week. I wonder if there is a moral to the story. I sort of feel like I need a new strategy for weight loss and am considering amputation of a limb. Unfortunately, I don't have the necessary tools here at work, although I am not sure we have any power tools or saws or anything like that at home either. Congrats to all the people that lost and my commiserations to anyone that gained. Make sure it has a fine tooth blade or it could get really messy. Thanks for the advice. I don't really know that much about saws and power tools and things like that. I was trying to imagine the conversation at Home Depot when I went to get the necessary equipment and had to explain what I was looking for and why. I just couldn't get it to play well in my mind. |

The trouble is a circular saw and a jigsaw just don't have enough depth. So best bet is a chainsaw, but dang they make a mess.......Throwing blood and bode all over the place. Now a bandsaw with a nice deep throat is a good option if someone will push you in...Hmm, I have to think about this a bit more (or not)....LOL. |

June Goal 221 June 1 229 227 today 227 again today.... Still have 2 weeks to get it together - First sprint race this Sunday - so I will just have to carry the extra around with me for this one and get lighter and faster this summer. 225 this week and completed first sprint last Sunday -- just imaging 20 lbs lighter how much easier that run will be...... |

Elite 3020 Bay Area, CA | Subject: RE: Team Skinny (June 2009) Jolly June Ok, I don't know why (maybe inability to face #'s early in the morning) but i completely forgot to weigh in this morning. So... I don't know. Maybe I'll give you the # from tomorrow - maybe not. What I AM doing though, which I need to stop, is getting below 260 and then thinking I can go have a "food party" and then of course, weight goes up 3 pounds, which I then spend next week or so getting back off again. Rinse and repeat. Need to stop that and just continue onwards instead of bouncing around. Can't start bouncing til I'm at least 60 pounds lighter cause I sure would rather be ranging between 199 and 203. |

Veteran 455 Limerick, Ireland | Subject: RE: Team Skinny (June 2009) Jolly June Sorry for being kate with that: last: 73.1 today: 73.4 gain: 0.3 Conference food allright but not only. Anyways, tried to be good and train this week (Mon and Tue) but this is it- moving to a house on Fri so spent 12hrs straight yesterday cleaning the new place (incl. draging a double mattresses up and down the stairs- not really a job for 1 person especially if this person is me) and still haven't finished. I can count this is as some form of workout, right? At least 2hrs of the 12hrs? Gonna finish packing tonight and off we go tomorrow. Then I'll be trying to unpack on Sat, bits and pieces anyway and then Sun I'm gonna be cleaning the flat so I can return the keys without feeling guilty. Also my supervisor wants me to hand in a chapter by the end of the week- kinda feel this is not gonna happen- Mon or Tue is more realistic. Hope she'll understand. |

Champion 5807 Henderson NV | Subject: RE: Team Skinny (June 2009) Jolly June Yes Ceade cleaning and moving should count as some kind of weight training workout. I hope your supervisor understands, but I have my doubts. Good luck with the move. |

Expert 859 Perth, Australia | Subject: RE: Team Skinny (June 2009) Jolly June You could always put it down as "yard work" - gotta be as tough as sweeping up leaves (especially that matress), good luck with it all, I kind of like moving, did it four times in five years, gives you a good opportunity for a clean out and a re-invention of your life both physically and mentally. No weight loss for me this week, thought I might have lost half a pound or so but scale says not. |

Member 63 Portland Oregon | Subject: RE: Team Skinny (June 2009) Jolly June Late again..... Last week 154.6 This week 153.8 Goal 155.00 15 Days until Vegas! 25 Days until Mrs. Simms!! Crunch time. I have been really motivated ever since I got my wedding dress altered. When I went to pick it up I had lost about 5 lbs. Normally that is a license to eat what ever I want, but before I started to pig-out I tried my altered dress on. It didn't fit!! It was too big. My alterations lady wasn't too happy, but I was stoked. Sometimes I don't realize how much the small things add up. Cheers! |

Extreme Veteran 418 Pittsburgh | Subject: RE: Team Skinny (June 2009) Jolly June Well, I'm back down to where I was a couple weeks ago, lol... Two weeks ago I was somewhere around 153.5. Last week I was up to 154.4, now I'm back down to 153.5 again! I kind of hope I DON'T make it down to my goal by the end of the month, because 3.5 pounds in a week is way too much weight to lose! (Gotta love those plateau months...) |

Also, I just wanna give you my best wishes for a lovely wedding and a long and happy marriage. You run around with on of those head pieces on I am sure something would happen they are about 40 pounds. This is our monsoon season so there is a good chance that it will be hot (105 or so), humid ( 20-30 %) and sunny with chance of thunderstorms. |

Regular 80 Colorado Springs, Colorado | Subject: RE: Team Skinny (June 2009) Jolly June I'm back, and now in MA instead of NM. I survived the road trip and, accounting for the sad fact that my scale at home reads much lighter than it should, I didn't do too badly on the road. Now I have an accurate scale and several family members who can watch my kids while I run and bike and swim! So I think I'm getting back on track for my training goals for the summer/fall. Current weight: 166 lbs. Goal by end of June: 164 lbs Goal weight: 150 |
