Nice run today. Started out nice and easy with sherpa duty with Clayton. Ran with my daughter for a while and followed Dave and Jake from the Fire Department. After the kids turnaround (mile .63) saw that Bryan D. was running with Clayton so I decided to run by myself. Passed Jake and Dave as we entered the park. Kept my eyes on the people ahead of me and tried to catch and pass them. Caught several of them and held the passes. Was really happy with the race. Everybody did well. Shout out's to Jeremy who was 4th overall, Justin who was first in our age group, Clayton for a good race and a new PR and Dave and Mr. and Mrs. Carrel for running a great race. Was really fun to run a smaller event with lots of friends running.

Run my own race the whole time. Probably wouldn't have been much faster but who knows. Really need to work on my running, it is the weakest of three weak events.

Walked around and waited for the free giveaways (I got licorice) and also got a medal for 2nd in my age group.
