OK Ellen, I'm gonna believe you this time...if we get any more snow after this, I'm blaming it on you! Yes, I've had enough of winter mountain climbing on the weekends, I'm ready to get out on the bike. Think I'm going to try a double workout today; go to the club this morning for some bike trainer and treadmill, then this afternoon ride the rollers for a couple hours and watch a racing video at home.

NOT A GOOD WAY FOR SPRING TO START!!!
14 miles on the bike this morning in a light rain on my mtn. bike followed by a slip and crash on a wet paver in my own driveway. Right shoulder and wrist are getting stiff! I was going to hit the weight room later today now it looks like much later.

Great BRICK today. Rode 31 miles and transitioned to 4 mile run. Better sleep last night helped. Also, added a GU gel towards the end of my ride which may have helped my energy. Just beat the thunderstorms. Guess the early bird does occasionally get the worm. :-)

Having not felt well yesterday, I think I will trade today for tomorrow and take a full rest day.(I just used yesterday, today and tomorrow in the same sentence!).

Well, after bagging on my work out yesterday. Ignore my post, I got up this morning and did a 2 mile trail run outside. Boy I love springtime in the Rockies! Great blue sky, wonderful weather, sunny, it was beautiful. My second mile was faster than my first but they were both around 15 min. But I ran .5 w/0 stopping! Then went and did 1hr weightlifting and 800 m swim. Broke 18 min! Woo Hoo!

"Spring time in the Rockies"??? I'm extremely jealous.

So, here in ....oh well....New Jersey, it turned out to be a nice day. Yesterday's snow pretty much melted, so I got in a nice 8 mile run. Took it easy at first, but able to push it over the last couple miles. Felt good. My injured knee didn't seem to mind either, so that's a plus.

Had to be at the salon all day and then spend some quality time with my daughter. Plan to bike and run tomorrow.

15 1/2 mile bike ride in beautiful 80 degree weather. Nephew took a tumble, lots of road rash, but I'm so thankful he wore his helmet since he said he did hit his head a little on the "rapid unplanned dismount." Heh, RUD, if you will. He'll be fine. Other nephew kept complaining about having to wear a helmet (I live on a base and told him that the base requires helmets).

And I think there is a typo in the above post. A 50 mile bike ride? ;-) Awesome, actually.
