Pre-race routine:

Prayed that I could breathe...:) Took GU 15 minutes prior to run with water.

Jogged for about 10 minutes to raise heartrate

What would you do differently?:

Try not to catch a cold a week prior to race. Start slower and do NEGATIVE splits.

Drank Endurox and 2 bottles of water

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Caught cold.

Event comments:

I usually enjoy this race, being it's usually my first of the season. I was delighted to come in first for my age group, since I didn't think my time was very good. Must have been a lot of slow runners today. :)
