Subject: RE: Final advice on first tri this weekend.Second the OWS practice, especially if you're wearing a wetsuit, which will feel constricting at first and can affect your breathing if you're not used to it. Also, if you're worried about the swim, count to 10 after they start your wave so you don't have to battle everyone else. I find I'm nervous before a tri but once the swim starts, I'm fine. Pace yourself, don't kill yourself on the bike, and have fun. Don't worry too much about nutrition for a sprint. Water or sports drink should be fine. Maybe a Gu on the bike. But you've probably worked on this part already... |
