Comments: Very hot! Humid! What would you do differently?: Wear a hat and a headband. Transition 1
Comments: Not bad. What would you do differently?: Sprinted with shoes on. I did the best I could. Bike
Comments: Hammered as hard as I could. I don't know anything I could do different. Transition 2
Comments: Got a leg cramp on T2. Did a gel pack in T2. Got some water and HEED on the way out to hopefully alleviate the cramps. Which it did. What would you do differently?: Alter my Infinit Nutrition drink on the bike. Run
Comments: Was spent on this run. Sun was blazing. Was on borderline cramping (legs). Slow run for me. But got thru it. What would you do differently?: Hydrate more on the bike. Post race
Warm down: Tried not to throw up. Seriously, walked, ate some food then a Cliff bar, lots of water. What limited your ability to perform faster: Humid conditions. Hydration. Event comments: I'll definetly run it again next year! Last updated: 2009-05-28 12:00 AM

One Hammer Perpetuem with a GU chocolate w/caffiene 3 hours before start time. 2 cups of coffee. Hydrate until I'm not thirsty then sip on water the rest of the morning.
Jogged lightly for 10 minutes.
