Subject: Anatomy question
What is the muscle that is just below the butt cheek? As my training load has gone up this muscle has let itself be known and I would like to know what it is!

Are you talking about the perineum (between the anus and reproductive organ), or the biceps femoris (on the posterior thighs)?

Maybe you are talking about the piriformis muscle and could be experiencing piriformis syndrome?  Just a guess.

The back of the leg, right below my butt...more to the outside. The concensus at work is its the bicep femoris.
