I was just re-reading Yorkee's post and I think he's flexible on swim times - and planning to spend the day in Belle River. I don't have anyone to go with - so I might wait and swim tomorrow with you unless you're sure you are going down today. (I don't like swimming without someone there... )

I just got a baby sitter if you want to meet down there at 2:00...only thing is I am a much slower swimmer than you so take it easy on me!

The water is very murky and rough but it'll still be ok

I just checked the website and today's water quality readings are not posted yet. Belle River and Cedar Beach were both a little high last week.

Anyone (Jeff, Matt, Stef, etc.) interested in a longish ride this weekend? I should do 2.5-3 hours. Also is anyone still planning on going to Benton Harbour for the Firecracker this weekend? I think that Matt and Jim were planning on going?

I would be up for a ride on Sunday IF I get my bike back. I took it in this morning with bottom bracket problems... He said he MIGHT be able to get it done by tomorrow afternoon. Otherwise I'm doing speedwork on my Devinci in my living room. I can't hold the speeds necessary on my road bike to ride with y'all.

I am planning a Benton Harbor trip either next week (Tues-Thurs) or the week after (same days).

Actually when you get to the lights turn left , go over the bridge then turn right, straight over the tracks and you'll see the beach ...park there!

Hey Jeff, any more thoughts about a gtg for the people doing Steelhead and Muskoka? Last week during our ride we were talking about a BBQ. Of course everyone would be welcome, but it might be useful to talk about the course, race day logistics, our hydration/nutrition plans, etc.

I just talked to Dawn, there is a group of ppl swimming off of stop 26 tomorrow @ 7:00am then a 3 hour bike ride after.
I think I will head out for the swim then ride home or sumthin.
